These children are our inheritance! The Lord assigned each and every one of them, as well as their families, to our staff. To say that we are honored is the least of the words we could choose. We believe that they deserve the best from us and any other stakeholders who choose to invest in their lives. Our directors Bosco and Lisa are both missionaries who are familiar with the great impact that education and exposure can have on both the ones serving and those being served. It is a dual-impact opportunity that is unique in itself. When Lisa went to the United States this past summer to share the school vision, many people expressed interest in partnering with Elwa Sunrise. Most of them were professionals in various sectors including education, social work, health and the arts. We decided to partner with these potential stakeholders on a large scale so that we could impact the Elwa community at large. Therefore, our first mission trip has been scheduled for July 10-26, 2019 and costs $2,150. The 16-day trip will consist of workshops, trainings, free services and of course, fun! We would like to invite anyone interested to apply here. The first non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by August 31st and can be paid here. Once accepted, we will email you with a basic information package that outlines the payment schedule and additional preparation information. This kingdom is too large for any one group to manage alone. This village is in need of those who have a heart to serve others and invest in the future of its people.
