Elwa Sunrise School Child Sponsorship Guidelines

Guidelines

Elwa Sunrise is committed to serving and developing our entire community. We desire that our children have a safe place to learn and grow into their purpose. We also desire for their families to be whole and prosperous. With your partnership in sponsoring a child, you are committing to the following:

1. Sponsoring them for at least one year to develop a lasting relationship
2. Corresponding with your child as often as time allows through video or other available streams

You also agree to the following ways in which your sponsorship will be allocated:

1. Payment of school fees
2. School and PE uniform for your child
3. Basic medical care
4. Family Bible
5. Administrative costs

We reserve the right to choose the recipients of these sponsorships and their allocation based on need, availability, participation, and cooperation with our guidelines. Child sponsorship is a temporary solution while we work together with the families to find more sustainable long-term solutions to empower the families.

The safety and respect of our children are of the utmost importance to us. We understand that, as you build a relationship with your child and their family, you may be inclined to share with others via social media or other platforms. We welcome this, however, any representation of the child or family that does not honor, respect or uphold their dignity will be grounds for dismissal from our sponsorship program.

Visits to your child and family are welcomed, especially during one of our scheduled mission trips.

I understand and agree to these guidelines regarding sponsoring a child at Elwa Sunrise School in Lira, Uganda. I also agree with the privacy policy and terms and conditions of Elwa Sunrise School.
